The vipers dont own the market on poor sportsmanship, actually their penalty numbers are way down compared to last season and compared to some other teams that have come and gone, they are not even near the worst. Yes, they had a guy fight and get tossed for 3 games, but other than that they have been better than last season which was better than the season before, and because of that, each year they have gotten better results.They are 7-1 and a big part of that is the lower penalty minutes..to the poster who questioned my teams Penalty numbers I say, I run a clean ship and expect my teammates to be better than the rest of the league when it comes to penalties. I went the whole season last year without getting one penalty...Hell, even Turner toned it down during his tenure on my team...as the Commissioner, I cannot be seen as a guy who condones goonery or dirty play-and I don't. I expect better from my players, plain and simple. As for the quality of reffing, we have the same three refs for the last three seasons, which has never happened in the 16 years I have run this league..and so far this season I have not had one serious complaint about my regular refs and I would not tolerate a ref who was biased against a team in any way. Someone questioned me on one of my refs last season in regards to bias and I told them that there was absolutely no way it was so. and it was not. I get the odd quibble about refs doing things differently and we address them as they arise, further more, I do not take anonymous rants on a web forum seriously...If you have a serious concern about the reffing, come talk to me.
Finally. I have read the whole post here and want to warn against inflammatory comments based on race, religion, culture and sexual orientation. This is for hockey talk. If you wanna talk smack, keep it hockey related otherwise your shit will get deleted.

They need to start calling penalties for slipping cause i slip on them tears puddles every time we play them. Vipers are a great team and have awesome chemistry and team play and i love beating them cause they get a lil mad  but they are totally cool afterwards cause they know it is just a fucking game. |
